Short Bio

Panagiota Vogdou was born and raised in Greece and moved to Toronto, Canada in 2015, bringing with her an accent, a suitcase full of stories, and a deep love for the stage. She first performed with the theatre group Ochliroi in her hometown of Kozani, and later with Epi Skinis in Toronto.

Since 2020, storytelling has taken over her life. She has shared her stories at shows such as The Story Collider, Replay Storytelling, Tales Toronto, The Spit, Listen to This!, and True Stories Told Live in Toronto, as well as Confabulation in Montreal.

Panagiota is also a Moth StorySLAM winner, having won the “Struggles” show in Brooklyn, New York (March 2026).

She is currently co-producing and co-hosting The Yarn, a monthly storytelling show in Toronto, alongside her friend and fellow storyteller Ronit Rubinstein.

Courses & Workshops

Panagiota has had a variety of acting and storytelling courses at Second City and with the theatre trained-actor and instructor, Collette Micks. Additionally, Panagiota has had storytelling workshops with the acclaimed storytellers Nisha Coleman and Christel Bartelse. She has also taken clown workshops with Christel Bartelse.
